Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while supporting all departments.

They will train and mentor team members, coordinate across shifts, and help prepare reports for the General Manager. The role offers growth toward Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager through the Management Accreditation Program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and local/state certifications where required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for managers handling alcohol.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service and accurate cash handling.
• Verbal and written English communication with all ages and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team and independently; follow directions and show urgency.
• Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and lead others; resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the General Manager.
• Support General Manager’s decisions in staff communications.
• Work in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Train and coach team members in their functions.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspect building, parking, landscaping, and equipment condition.
• Report repairs to the General Manager.
• Ensure staff follow dress code and provide superior guest service.
• Enforce Cinemark guidelines with consistency.
• Report employee relations issues to the General Manager.
