Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations across all departments. This role trains team members, enforces policies, and collaborates with the General Manager to maintain service standards.

Eligible candidates will complete Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and demonstrate strong English communication, leadership, and guest service skills. Growth to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager is outlined in the accreditation path.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state health certifications where required.
• Management team handling alcohol requires Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular, consistent attendance required.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling skills.
• Strong English communication (verbal/written).
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and support all theatre departments.
• Train and coach Team Members in their specific roles.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.
• Enforce dress code and deliver superior customer service.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues and follow up.
