Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre, ensuring policy adherence and meeting standards across all departments. The role involves cross-training staff, supporting the General Manager, and participating in the Management Accreditation Program to advance toward Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager roles.

Responsibilities include leading teams, coaching employees, preparing reports, and maintaining safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain local/state certification as required.
• Management personnel handling alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provide excellent guest service; strong cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the General Manager.
• Support GM decisions in staff communications.
• Work in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Train and coach team members in their functions.
• Assist in preparing administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspect theatre facilities and equipment and report repairs needed.
• Ensure adherence to dress code by staff.
• Interact with guests to ensure superior customer service.
