Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers support the theatre's day-to-day operations, ensuring policies are followed and standards are met. They are cross-trained in all departments and develop staff through coaching and training, with a clear path to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, flexible availability, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Management members who work with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Requires strong English communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to train and lead others and maintain high work ethic standards.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Interacts with Guests to ensure superior Customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark Guidelines with all Team Members fairly and consistently.
• Reports Employee relations issues to the General Manager and follows Reporting Protocol.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness; identifies and reports repairs as needed.
