Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers help operate the theatre, ensuring policies are followed and standards met. They train staff, support all departments, and prepare reports for the General Manager as part of the Management Accreditation Program pathway.

They may advance to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after meeting program requirements and six months of service. This role requires flexibility and excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program or MAP Core within required timeframe.
• Completion of basic food handling training and any local/state certifications where required.
• Management staff handling alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Train and coach Team Members in their specific roles.
• Support cross-department operations and provide inspirational training.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
