Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement leader to promote and implement CI methods across the business unit. The role will manage CI resources across multiple operations, leveraging data analytics, engineering, and lean tools to deliver performance improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

The position interfaces with employees at all levels and reports to the CI Director or Sr. CI Manager, closely aligned with a Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required
• Nine years or more in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Transportation or Logistics required
• Lean Six Sigma, required / CPMP, ISO/QMS, preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI engineering and quality professionals.
• Lead strategy development, KPI action plans and performance reporting.
• Coach teams in Engineering, Data Analysis and Lean methods.
• Oversee start-ups, retrofits, expansions including go-live and steady state certifications.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events across accounts.
