Job summary

Nurture, a Pushpay company, is hiring its first dedicated Customer Success Manager to partner with the Head of Customer Experience. You will own onboarding and ongoing relationships across churches, starting with administrative drive and expanding into a trusted thought partner as the function scales.

You will travel for training and customer engagements, join sales calls, and help build onboarding playbooks and support workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role at a SaaS or technology company.
• Ability to manage multiple work-streams independently and prioritize.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable leading meetings and documenting work.
• Willingness to travel for customer trainings and team gatherings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onboarding execution: securing customer access, coordinating with the development team on technical setup, building onboarding templates, and moving projects from access to delivery.
• Partner with the Head of Customer Experience as the through line for customers across sales calls, kickoff meetings, data practices conversations, strategy sessions, and training engagements.
• Run customer-facing meetings independently once strategy is defined, including monthly check-ins and relationship management for an assigned book of churches.
• Translate between customers and the dev team: bring solutions back from engineering, follow up on progress, and reduce engineer involvement in calls.
• Document processes as they are designed — onboarding playbooks, support workflows, training best practices, ministry-specific strategies — to scale the team.
• Identify what can be automated or delegated (including to AI tools) versus what must stay human and pastoral, building the operational backbone.
• Travel periodically for in-person training and customer engagements with the Head of Customer Experience.
