Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, fabricate orthoses, coordinate with hand surgeons and therapists, and develop individualized recovery plans, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.

Required: Bachelor's degree, state PT or OT license, 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab; CHT credential preferred; CPR/BLS; and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy
• Current state PT or OT license
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab
• Provide orthotic fabrication and patient education on orthosis wear
• Deliver therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services
• Direct supervision of OT Assistants, students and support personnel
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians and other clinicians
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions
