Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) for advanced hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehabilitation in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans and supervise therapy staff.

Education includes a bachelor’s degree with a Doctorate in PT or OT preferred; CPR/BLS and a CHT are required. Competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred; graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand/upper-extremity conditions; educate patients on wear and care.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation; scar management, edema control and return-to-work rehab as needed.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists and other healthcare professionals.
