Job summary

Domestic Violence Intervention Services in Tulsa, OK seeks a Children’s Trauma Therapist to provide therapy for DVIS clients, including intakes, individual, family and group sessions, psycho-education, advocacy, case management, and crisis intervention.

You will use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches with children and caregivers, develop safety plans, and document assessments and treatment plans in a timely manner. DVIS emphasizes diversity, equity, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or under supervision.
• Minimum 1 year of supervised therapy experience; nonprofit/trauma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes, individual, family, and group therapy with children and caregivers.
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions tailored to each client.
• Create safety plans with every client/family.
• Maintain timely documentation: assessments, treatment plans, and notes.
• Collaborate with DVIS staff and external partners as needed.
