Domestic Violence Intervention Services, Inc. seeks a Child Care Teacher to provide high-quality care for children birth to eighteen, including educational and recreational activities.

The position requires at least one year of experience with children, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Adobe.
• Experience with basic office software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide child care at the Family Safety Center and other sites as needed.
• Utilize non-physical guidance and provide feedback to parents.
• Create, plan and implement recreational/educational childcare lesson plans.
• Keep the childcare center clean, sanitized, and orderly throughout the day.
• Prepare and set up the childcare center at the start of each day.
• Adhere to Licensing Regulations when covering additional sites.
