The Family Place in Dallas, TX invites graduate students pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or Clinical Social Work to join as Counseling Student Intern. You will gain hands-on experience providing trauma-informed, survivor-centered counseling to youth and adults who have experienced family or domestic violence under supervision.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of trauma, domestic violence dynamics, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be enrolled in accredited Master's program and able to work evenings.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-person intake assessments to establish safety plans and identify needs.
• Provide weekly individual therapy to adult and/or youth survivors of violence.
• Facilitate psycho-education groups for domestic violence survivors.
• Maintain confidential client records and document hours.
• Attend required supervision and professional development sessions.
• Assist in developing group materials and clinical resources as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
