Job summary

General Tool Co. in Reading, OH, seeks an executive to lead the Quality organization across a multi-site network. The VP of Quality will own the QMS strategy, oversee certifications, and drive enterprise-wide quality performance with the President and leadership team.

You will shape the quality culture, manage the budget, and build succession plans for site leaders while maintaining strong customer and regulatory relationships.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years in QA systems development and management.
• Seven+ years in senior quality leadership at a manufacturing environment.
• Experience standardizing QMS across multiple sites enterprise-wide.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern a common QMS framework across all GTC sites.
• Oversee enterprise-wide QMS changes and improvements.
• Develop enterprise quality metrics and CAPA system for defect reduction.
• Lead AS9100 and ISO 9001 certification and surveillance audits.
• Serve as the executive Management Representative for AS9100/ISO 9001 activities.
• Oversee AS13100 activities including self-assessments and customer audits.
• Communicate policy changes and quality performance data to leadership across sites.
