Job summary

General Tool Company seeks an accomplished VP Quality to own the enterprise QMS strategy, align site leadership, and drive quality improvements across a multi-site network. You will oversee AS9100/ISO 9001 activities, regulatory relationships, and budget ownership while building a unified quality culture.

You will report to the President and participate as a key member of the executive leadership team, shaping quality policy and client satisfaction across every facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field; MBA preferred.
• Fifteen+ years in QA systems development, with seven+ years in senior/executive quality leadership.
• Experience leading QA across multiple manufacturing sites or a plant network.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern a common QMS framework across all sites.
• Lead AS9100 and ISO 9001 certification and surveillance audits.
• Oversee all AS13100 activities including self-assessments and customer audits.
• Communicate policy changes and quality data to employees and leadership.
• Own enterprise quality budget and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce defects across the network.
