Oatey seeks a Vice President, Quality to drive corporate quality strategy, quality systems, and quality engineering across the organization. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Product Management and Sourcing to improve product and process quality, governance, and talent development.

The leader will strengthen quality management practices, solve complex issues, and ensure data-driven decisions to support growth and reliability across a multi-site manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive quality, engineering, manufacturing or operations experience with leadership in a multi-site, product-based organization.
• Deep knowledge of QMS, auditing, management review, document control, nonconformance and corrective action.
• Proven ability to develop technical talent and translate quality performance into business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) across corporate quality policies and procedures.
• Represent Quality in strategic initiatives, product decisions and major issue reviews.
• Establish corporate standards for nonconformance, quality holds, CAPA and traceability.
• Lead the Corporate Quality Engineering team in resolving complex quality issues across manufacturing and suppliers.
• Provide QA support to Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Sourcing and Distribution.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to define critical-to-quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure corrective actions address systemic causes and are translated into updated standards and training.
