GENERAL TOOL COMPANY is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager to elevate our inspection and metrology program. You will lead the QC organization, drive calibration precision, and develop a high-performance team dedicated to shipping parts that meet exact specifications.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in quality disciplines.
Proven supervisory experience leading a technical function.
Track record of quality improvement projects with measurable results.
Deep expertise in inspection and metrology.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field or equivalent experience.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the entire Quality Control organization — inspection, metrology, training, calibration, and the people who make it all work.
Develop and coach QC team, ensuring training is effective and up-to-date.
Identify and track inspection capabilities and build development plans to close gaps.
Set and monitor performance controls and departmental goals.
Support the development of departmental strategy and long-term vision.
Verify product conformity early in the process and drive nonconformance containment.
