Job summary

Help at Home seeks a Head of Information Security to lead the organization’s security program across governance, risk, and operations from Boise, Idaho. You will partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to mature controls, security awareness, and vendor risk management.

The role requires 12+ years in information security with 3+ years leading security teams, hands-on incident response, and experience with HIPAA, SOX, and frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 12+ years of information security experience.
• 3+ years leading security teams or cross-functional initiatives.
• Hands-on security operations experience including incident response and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise security program governance, risk management, and strategy execution.
• Oversee security operations, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Manage MSSP and vendor relationships; ensure third-party security compliance.
• Develop security metrics, reporting, and alignment with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, SOX).
