Job summary

Help at Home, a national in‑home care provider, seeks a Head of Information Security to lead the enterprise cyber program across governance, operations, and compliance.

You will drive risk management, security metrics, and vendor relationships while aligning security with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic, hands‑on leader to mature our security posture.

Qualifications

• Executive leader with strong business context for cyber risk.
• Experience managing enterprise security programs and teams.
• Proven ability to align security with business goals.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements (SOX, HIPAA).
• Hands-on capability across security operations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise security strategy and roadmap with measurable outcomes.
• Oversee governance, risk management, security operations, and metrics.
• Establish security metrics and reporting for executives and board.
• Monitor threats, legislation, and industry developments; drive risk mitigation.
• Manage MSSP and vendor relationships; ensure performance.
• Ensure secure SDLC and vendor security requirements.
• Drive AI governance and data protection across the organization.
• Lead SOX/ITGC alignment and internal audit support.
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity exercises.
• Communicate cyber risk to business and technology leaders.
