Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Vice President, Global Supply Chain to lead a global, end-to-end supply chain strategy across government and commercial markets. This executive oversees supplier quality, purchasing, subcontracts, strategic sourcing, supply chain compliance and the small business liaison function.

The role drives ERP systems, mainly Oracle Fusion, and other procurement tools, ensuring regulatory compliance (FAR, DFARS, NDAA, ITAR) and scalable operations across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 15+ years in global operations.
• 10–15 years of leadership in global supply chain, procurement, or compliance.
• Strong CPSR, FAR, DFARS, NDAA and ITAR compliance expertise.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP/Oracle) in aerospace/defense.
• Strategic sourcing and supplier development leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy that mitigates risk, supports production scaling, and improves cost, quality, and delivery across all lines of business.
• Oversee global purchasing, subcontracts, strategic sourcing, and supplier quality to ensure on-time, high-quality supply.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including CPSR, NDAA, ITAR, and other requirements across global operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams and align governance with program, financial, and regulatory goals.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on CPSR status, supplier performance, and supply chain health.
