Job summary

VAERO is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Management in Jacksonville, FL to lead a high-performing team and drive end-to-end supply chain, procurement and supplier strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet program requirements, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure compliant, timely delivery of materials and services.

The role requires 10+ years in supply chain leadership, strong negotiation and budgeting skills, and familiarity with aerospace quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years supply chain management experience.
• Direct supervision of at least 3 and up to 40 indirect reports.
• Familiar with ISO 9001/AS9100/NADCAP/ITAR/EAR certifications and related standards.
• Broad knowledge of procurement, planning, strategic sourcing, MRP, and aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Directs end-to-end supply chain, procurement and vendor management.
• Builds a high-performance team aligned to company growth objectives.
• Leads cross-functional efforts to meet program requirements and profitability.
• Negotiate terms, manage budgets, and oversee supplier performance.
