AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Security to lead all security aspects across the organization. The role partners with the CISO to ensure a robust posture, spanning industrial, personnel, physical security, and risk intelligence, while coordinating with U.S.

government policies and directives. The incumbent will guide compliance with federal requirements, manage a security leadership team, and drive a culture of accountability and excellence while enabling business growth through

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (preferred).
• Minimum 15 years in industrial security, SAP/SCI programs, and management of classified security programs.
• Minimum 10 years of direct managerial experience.
• Strong understanding of NISPOM, ICD 705, DoDM 5205.07, and related regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead security program ensuring compliance with DoD, IC, and federal regulations.
• Establish a robust security culture aligned with customer needs and employee engagement.
• Oversee security investigations, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement education, training, and awareness programs.
