Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Global Supply Chain to develop and execute a global, end-to-end strategy that mitigates risk and scales production for government and commercial markets.

You will lead the Global Supply Chain organization, including Purchasing, Subcontracts, Supplier Quality & Development, and Compliance, ensuring CPSR/ITAR compliance and strong operational performance across all programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Aerospace Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in global operations, supply chain, or procurement, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• 10–15 years of leadership experience in global operations, supply chain, or compliance.
• Proven expertise in CPSR, FAR, DFARS, NDAA, ITAR compliance.
• Extensive experience with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Oracle) in aerospace/defense environments.
• Knowledge of CAS, TINA, and government contract reporting requirements.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred; professional certifications (CFCM/CPCM/CPP/CSCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy across all lines of business.
• Oversee ERP implementation and optimization (Oracle Fusion and other IT systems).
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FAR, DFARS, NDAA, ITAR, CPSR) and supplier risk management.
• Lead Purchasing, Subcontracts, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Quality & Development.
• Drive supplier diversity and small business objectives within sourcing and contracting.
