Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Construction Technology to lead strategy, growth, and operations of its construction tech business.

This executive will build a scalable tech organization and drive recurring revenue across software, services, and integration offerings. The role requires deep knowledge of construction equipment, machine control, and connected assets, with strong commercial leadership and financial discipline.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in construction equipment or related industry.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen; experience managing budgets and profitability.
• Excellent executive communication and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive construction technology strategy aligned with dealership objectives, market opportunities, and OEM priorities.
• Drive technology revenue and profitability across equipment sales, aftermarket, rental, and customer-owned fleets.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for machine control, grade control, fleet management, connected equipment, automation, and digital productivity solutions.
• Expand software subscriptions, technology services, support agreements, and other sustainable revenue opportunities.
• Build and develop a high-performing technology organization spanning sales, technical support, service, demonstrations, training, and field operations.
• Increase customer adoption through onboarding, implementation, training, and ongoing support.
• Establish KPIs and reporting to measure financial results, adoption, efficiency, and utilization.
• Partner with OEMs and technology providers to align product strategy and customer needs.
