Job summary

DIG INN Restaurant Teams is seeking a Chef-in-Training for its DIG restaurants. You will learn through hands-on kitchen experience, advancing toward skilled chef capabilities while serving guests with scratch-made meals.

You will rotate across stations, develop leadership and culinary skills, and contribute to a fast-paced, foodie-driven environment that values education, purpose, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• No formal chef experience required but a strong desire to learn and grow in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, and grains following recipes and taste guidelines.
• Gain exposure to various DIG kitchen stations (garde manger, grill, roast, market line, etc.).
• Describe menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to guests to enhance their dining experience.
• Support the team during busy periods and assist wherever needed.
• Uphold DIG's safety, anti-discrimination, and food safety standards.
