Job summary

Maersk in the United States (Georgia) seeks a CHB Operations Associate to coordinate and execute shipments, ensuring client service levels and timely clearance from start to finish. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CHB experience.
• 6–12 months of industry experience.
• Knowledge of Section 232 IEEPA tariff structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Driven to drive issues to closure.
• Well organized and detail oriented under pressure.
• Collaborates well with others to achieve results.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Customs House Brokerage License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own CHB operations services for assigned customers.
• Provide customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Process customs entries and PGA for clearance compliance.
• Open entry files and process entries per KPI.
• Coordinate clearance with forwarders, steamship lines and airlines.
• Complete customer billing and required reports.
• Track and trace inbound shipments.
• Coordinate operations from airline/ocean piers to destination.
• Ensure documentation is uploaded into the operating system.
• Maintain and update customer SOPs.
