Job summary

Maersk New York is seeking a CHB Operations Associate to coordinate and execute shipments for multiple client accounts, ensuring service levels are met daily. You will expedite shipments, understand import programs, and collaborate with internal teams to process files and documentation.

The role requires 1+ year CHB experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CHB experience.
• 6–12 months in customs industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented, especially under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and work with others to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Own CHB operations services for assigned customers.
• Provide customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Process Customs entries and PGA for clearance of goods.
• Coordinate with forwarders, Airlines, and Steamship Lines for timely releases.
• Handle customer billing and reports; track inbound shipments.
• Coordinate delivery from airline/ocean piers to destination.
• Upload required documentation to the operating system.
• Maintain and update customer SOPs.
