Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CHB Operations Associate to coordinate and execute shipments for a group of client accounts, ensuring service levels are met daily. You will expedit shipments from start to finish and develop familiarity with import programs and products for each client.

In this role you will process customs entries, coordinate with forwarders and carriers, handle billing and reporting, track inbound shipments, and maintain customer SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CHB experience.
• Knowledge of Section232 and IEEPA tariff structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own all CHB operations services for assigned customers and provide customer service.
• Process Customs entries and PGA for clearance per regulations.
• Open entry files and process entries according to KPIs.
• Coordinate clearance of shipments with forwarders, steamship lines, and airlines.
• Complete customer billing and required reports.
• Track and trace inbound shipments.
• Coordinate operations for shipments from airlines, ocean piers, and CFS.
• Ensure documentation and entry packages are uploaded to the system.
• Maintain and update customer SOPs as needed.
