Zusammenfassung

Maersk is seeking an CHB Operations Associate to coordinate and execute shipments to meet client service levels daily. You will support a group of client accounts by expediting shipments from start to finish, developing familiarity with import programs, and coordinating file processing with team members and other company groups.

The role requires ownership of CHB operations for assigned customers, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of CHB experience.
• 6–12 months of experience in the industry.
• Knowledge of Section 232 IEEPA tariff structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Persistently drives issues to closure.
• Well organized and detail oriented, especially under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experience.
• Customs House Brokerage License preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Own all CHB operations services for the customers assigned to them, including but not limited to: providing customer service and assisting customers with questions and requests for information.
• Processing Customs entries and PGA for clearance of goods, ensuring full compliance of all Customs and PGA regulations.
• Opens entry files and processes entries according to outlined KPI; coordinates clearance of shipments with forwarders, Steamship Lines, Airlines to ensure timely release.
• Completes customer billing and/or other required reports.
• Completes tracking and tracing for inbound shipments.
• Coordination of Operations for shipments from airline, ocean piers and CFS to customer/consignee destination.
• Ensure required documentation / entry package is uploaded into operating system
• Maintain customer SOPs and updates as needed
