Job summary

Maersk in Georgia is seeking a CHB Operations Associate to coordinate daily shipments, expediting orders from start to finish and supporting assigned client accounts. You will develop familiarity with import programs and product specifics while collaborating with colleagues.

Responsibilities include processing customs entries and PGA, ensuring compliance, coordinating with forwarders and carriers, completing billing and tracking, and maintaining accurate documentation and SOPs to drive on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CHB experience or 6-12 months in the industry with related duties.
• Knowledge of Section 232 IEEPA tariff structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate confidently.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; well organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Own CHB operations services for assigned customers; provide customer service and handle information requests.
• Process customs entries and PGA for clearance; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate clearance with forwarders, steamship lines, and airlines for timely release of shipments.
• Complete customer billing and reports; perform tracking and tracing for inbound shipments.
• Coordinate operations for shipments from airline, ocean piers, and CFS to destination; maintain SOPs in the operating system.
