Job summary

Cato Networks in Dallas, TX is seeking a Channel-based Sales Engineer to be the technical face to our partners in the South Central. You will work with Channel Account Managers to enable, support, and grow the partner technical community, explaining technology and product positioning to business and technical users.

The role requires 4+ years in Pre-Sales or Consulting with networking or cloud security, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience in network or cloud security.
• Proven track record in software sales.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking technology including LAN/WAN, switching and routing, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical overviews and demonstrations to partners.
• Deliver technical training on SASE, networking and security.
• Present the product to partners at field events and conferences.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs with functional and technical elements.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management.
• Travel throughout partner territory.
