Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a Channel-based Sales Engineer to support our Northwest partner ecosystem. You will serve as the technical face to partners, delivering demonstrations, training and collaborative engagements with Channel Account Managers to enable and grow the partner technical community.

In this role you will present the product to partners at events, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and translate customer requirements to Product Management while traveling within your territory.

Qualifications

• 4 years of pre-sales or consulting experience in network or cloud security
• Proven track record in software sales
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, switching and routing, and security technologies
• Excellent presentation and written communication for RFIs/RFPs
• Organized, analytical and creative problem-solver

Responsibilities

• Provide technical overviews and demonstrations to our partners
• Deliver technical training on SASE, networking and security
• Present the product to partners at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
• Travel throughout partner territory
