Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a Sales Engineer in the Bay Area to serve as the technical resource for our field sales force. You will drive and manage the technology evaluation stage, acting as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our cloud-based SASE solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in pre-sales or consulting with network and cloud security products, with strong presentation and communication skills, and must be comfortable traveling across the sales territory in a

Qualifications

• 4 years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience in network and/or cloud security products.
• Proven track record in software sales.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies, switching and routing.
• Experience with Firewalls and filtering technologies in security contexts.
• Cloud experience and ability to articulate technical concepts to both business and technical users.
• Strong presentation skills and clear written communication in emails, RFPs, and reports.
• Organized, analytical, creative and adaptive in problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
• Present the product to customers and at field events.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Travel throughout sales territory.
