Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a Sales Engineer in Western Pennsylvania to serve as a key technical advisor and product advocate for our cloud-based security platform.

You will manage the technology evaluation stage, develop and deliver product demonstrations, present to customers at field events, address RFIs and RFPs, and travel throughout the territory. A background in networking or cloud security with a proven software sales track record is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of pre-sales or consulting experience in network or cloud security in a customer-facing role.
• Proven track record in software sales.
• Broad knowledge of networking technology: LAN, WAN, switching, routing, security/firewalls, and cloud.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills for emails, RFIs/RFPs, and reports.
• Organized, creative, and adaptable in approach and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical validation of Cato solutions to prospects.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
• Present the product to customers and at field events.
• Address functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Travel within the sales territory as required.
