Job summary

Cato Networks in the Bay Area is seeking a Sales Engineer to be the technical resource for the field sales force, driving evaluations and acting as the product advocate for our cloud networking and security solutions.

You will build relationships, deliver demos, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and travel within the territory. Strong presentation skills and deep networking/security knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting in network and cloud security.
• Proven track record in software sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to business and technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, security and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects.
• Development and delivery of product demonstrations.
• Presenting the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
• Travel throughout sales territory
