Job summary

Cato Networks in Seattle, WA is seeking a Channel-based Sales Engineer to be the technical face to our Northwest partners, enabling, supporting, and growing the partner technical community. You should be skilled at building relationships and explaining technology to both business and technical users, and you will drive partner satisfaction throughout the enablement process.

You will work closely with Channel Account Managers to deliver demonstrations, trainings, and field-event presentations,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience in network and/or cloud security in a customer-facing role.
• Proven track record in software sales.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking technology (LAN/WAN, switching, routing).
• Strong presentation and written communication skills (emails, RFPs, reports).
• Organized, analytical, and adaptive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical overviews and demonstrations to partners.
• Deliver technical training on SASE, networking and security.
• Present the product to partners at field events and conferences.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs with technical input.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Travel throughout partner territory.
