Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Channel Sales professional in Oxnard, CA to drive growth for small businesses by delivering payroll, HR, and compliance solutions. You’ll generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach, while building relationships with CPAs and clients to win new logos.

You will participate in high-volume activity, manage short sales cycles, and handle the full process from prospecting to closing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in relevant sales/marketing role.
• Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
• Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
• Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback.
• Experience working toward goals or quotas in sales or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos
• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals
