Job summary

Paychex is seeking an early-career sales professional to generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach, serving small businesses with payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions.

You will build relationships with CPAs and clients, manage a fast-paced 1–2 week sales cycle, and own the process from prospecting to closing. A HS diploma is required, with a Bachelor's preferred, and 1 year of relevant experience; leadership experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a relevant sales/marketing role.
• High school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in school, clubs, or organizations.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos
• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals
