Job summary

Paychex is seeking an early-career sales professional to join our Channel Sales team in New York. You’ll generate new business through referral partners, build relationships with CPAs and clients, and drive a fast-paced sales cycle for payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant sales/marketing experience.
• Valid driver's license and transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach.
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos.
• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline.
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance.
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners.
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals.
