Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Change Order Specialist to coordinate the change order process across active projects. You will gather and organize information from contracts, field documentation, and directives to support accurate change order development and timely pricing.

The role collaborates with Project Executives, PMs, Engineering, and Sales Engineering to identify potential change events and ensure documentation is complete, consistent, and ready for action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in construction change order management or project controls.
• Experience with change orders, cost exposure tracking, or contract compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support change order process across active projects by tracking scope, cost, and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate with Project Executives, PMs, Engineering, and field teams to gather information for change orders.
• Review contracts, scopes of work, drawings, RFIs, and directives to identify potential out-of-scope work.
• Gather documentation including labor/material details, field reports, and schedules for pricing and submission.
• Maintain visibility into open change events and ageing across projects.
• Escalate high-risk items to leadership when action is required.
• Assist with cost management to capture impacts as they occur.
