Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter seasonal positions including ski instructors. The role involves teaching group and private lessons to guests of all ages, delivering exceptional guest service in a safe and fun environment, and supporting ski school operations.

Roles are full-time or part-time during the winter season with varied hours and a focus on high-quality instruction.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all ski school needs including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers and riders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage:$21.00/hr - $64.34/hr
  • Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more withadditionalteaching incentives
• Employment Type:Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.
• Shift Type:Full Time and Part Timehours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
