Job summary

Northstar California Resort invites you to teach skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages in an inspiring mountain setting. Certified instructors deliver safe, high-quality lessons and share world-class guest service.

This winter seasonal role offers competitive starting pay of $21.00 per hour with opportunities to earn more through teaching incentives. Full and part-time schedules are available, with housing options and extensive training supported by Epic Service.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all ski school needs inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders.
• Other duties as assigned.
