Job summary

Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe seeks certified ski instructors for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will teach group and private lessons, delivering outstanding guest service in a safe, fun environment for all ages.

Employment is Winter Seasonal with full-time and part-time hours; starting wage ranges from $21.00/hr to $64.34/hr, with incentives that may increase earnings. Housing is available, and training is provided to meet standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent.
• Fluency in English is required to communicate with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to work with guests of all ages and comfort with children aged 3+.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private ski/snowboard lessons.
• Deliver world-class guest service in a safe, fun learning environment.
• Support ski school operations and assist with equipment fitting and lifts.
• Maintain safety standards and adapt lessons to all ages and abilities.

JobSummary:

Experience the best office in the world teaching skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages. Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage:$ 21.00/hr – $ 64.34/hr
• Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more withadditionalteaching incentives

• Shift Type:Full Time and Part Timehours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
• The expected pay range is$ 21.00/hr – $ 64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
