Job summary

Mount Snow, LTD in Dover, Vermont is hiring certified ski and snowboard instructors for the Winter Seasonal program. You will teach groups and private lessons, delivering top-tier guest service in a safe, enjoyable environment for guests of all ages.

The starting wage ranges from $21.00 per hour to $64.34 per hour, with potential additional incentives. Full-time and part-time schedules are available; housing may be provided. Training and development are emphasized within our Epic Service program.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Comfortable teaching guests of all ages, including children aged 3 and older.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages and ability levels.
• Deliver world-class guest service in a safe, fun learning environment.
• Create a welcoming, constructive atmosphere that encourages lifelong skiers and riders.
• Support ski school operations including equipment fitting and lift loading as needed.
• Provide guest feedback to improve programs and lessons.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift Type:Full Time and Part Timehours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
• The expected pay range is$21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
