Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 as Seasonal Ski Instructors and more. Roles include group and private lessons for guests of all ages. Starting wage ranges from $21.00/hr to $64.34/hr, with part-time and full-time hours depending on business volume.

Housing is available, and positions run through Winter 2026/27. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a cutoff of December 15, 2026, or until filled.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 or ISIA equivalent or higher required.
• Must communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and adapt to a varying schedule.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world-class guest service to all guests.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all ski school needs including scanning, running surface lifts, helping with lunch and equipment fitting.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers and riders.
• Other duties as assigned.

CertifiedSki or SnowboardInstructors will deliver quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world class guest service in a safe and fun environment. Full and Part Time positions available.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $64.34/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.
• Shift Type: Part Time hours available .For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification orISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
