Job summary

Kirkwood Mountain Resort, LLC is looking for Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructors to teach guests of all ages in an exciting mountain environment. You will deliver quality instruction and world-class guest service, in a safe and fun setting. Both full-time and part-time seasonal roles are available.

Starting wage ranges from $21.00/hr to $64.34/hr, with opportunities for additional teaching incentives. Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 employment.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all ski school needs including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
• The expected pay range is$21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
