Job summary

Vail Resorts in Crested Butte, CO seeks certified ski/snowboard instructors for winter seasonal roles. You will deliver group and private lessons, ensuring world-class guest service in a safe, fun learning environment. Roles include Full-Time and Part-Time schedules with varied hours and training provided.

Requirements include PSIA/AASI Level 1 or ISIA equivalent and fluent English. Must be comfortable with children aged 3+, weekends/holidays, and seasonal employment for 2026/2027.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent required.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Able to work with guests of all ages, including children aged 3 and older.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Seasonal winter employment for 2026/2027, with training provided.

Responsibilities

Job Specifications

Starting Wage:$21.00/hr – $64.34/hr

Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more withadditionalteaching incentives

Employment Type:Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.

Shift Type:Full Time and Part Timehours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
