Job summary

Stowe Mountain Resort is hiring certified ski and snowboard instructors for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Instructors teach groups and individuals, deliver top-tier guest service, and ensure a safe, enjoyable learning environment for guests of all ages.

Minimum PSIA/AASI Level 1 or ISIA equivalent, fluency in English, and willingness to work weekends/holidays are required. Training and skill development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Minimum age 16 years.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon training and meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support ski school needs including scanning, operating lifts, facilitating lunch, and equipment fitting.
• Provide guest feedback to inspire lifelong skiers and riders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Job Specifications

Starting Wage:$21.00/hr - $64.34/hr

Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more withadditionalteaching incentives

Employment Type:Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.

Shift Type:Full Time and Part Timehours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
