Job summary

Hunter Mountain is hiring certified ski and snowboard instructors for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. The role delivers world-class instruction to guests of all ages in a fun, safe environment.

The wage range is $21.00/hr to $64.34/hr, with opportunities to earn more through teaching incentives and seasonal scheduling. Positions include both full-time and part-time shifts with housing available where noted.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent.
• Fluent English communication.
• Ability to work with guests of all ages, including children 3+.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and meet scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all ski school needs including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned

Shift Type:Full Time and Part Timehours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
