Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies on patients per provider orders. The role requires positioning patients safely, documenting encounters in EMR, and ensuring proper equipment settings to protect patients and staff.

The position may involve travel to other facilities and supporting lab/pouch/patient registration tasks as needed. ARRT certification and state licensure (preferred) are required or expected within hiring.

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)
• State licensure (preferred)
• BLS Basic Life Support – required prior to direct patient care

Responsibilities

• Safely performs radiographic examinations as ordered by providers.
• Position and immobilize patients as needed with safety.
• Document patient encounters in EMR.
• Choose proper technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment.
• Assist in daily operations and travel as needed to meet patient care needs.
