Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics (foreign equivalent acceptable).
• Ability to obtain state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient needs for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Take measurements, cast models, and select materials for devices.
• Provide patient instruction and follow-up care.
• Maintain thorough clinical notes and participate in practice management.
